Bahraini dailies: Saudi's King call for a Gulf Union is a Historical gesture from a Historical Leader

Manama, Dec. 20 (BNA) -- Two of Bahraini dailies praised the call for creation of a Gulf Union by the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud yesterday during the 32nd session of the GCC Supreme Council Summit, which was a historical gesture coming from a true historical leader in the right time and at the right direction.

Al Ayam Newspaper praised the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques in an article published today under the title of "GCC Supreme Council Summit through Abu Mut'eb Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques" describing him as a true historical leader that creates huge historical changes using his known wisdom and great stands that benefits the people of all GCC, Arab and Islamic countries.

Al Ayam confirmed –as King Abdullah did- that its time to move from a phase of co-operation to a phase of union within a single entity to achieve joint welfare and stave off threats against the GCC countries, noting that this opens in the shadow of challenges that require vigilance and a united stance.

Al Watan newspaper confirmed in its published papers today under "Gulf Union Dream" title, that the call by the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud yesterday came in a critical time in which the GCC countries are under boundless foreign threats and hunger that wants to seize the successful Arab's achievements.

Al Watan pointed that His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa affirmed the importance of this unity especially to the Kingdom of Bahrain after what it had to witness during the previous months which derives from the historical responsibilities shouldered by the GCC leaders.
