Woman dies, children hurt in Bahrain bomb blast: police

A Bahraini woman died and three children sustained minor injuries when their car was hit by a bomb blast that police said was carried out by "terrorists" in southern Bahrain on Friday.
Shrapnel hit the car the woman was in, the police said, and security forces were on the scene of the attack in the village of East Eker, south of Bahrain's capital, Manama, according to a Tweet by the Interior Ministry.
In July 2015, a bomb killed two policemen and wounded six in what was then the deadliest such attack in Bahrain in months.
